This is an inspired retirement village


3 courses @ £25 - 2 courses @ £20


Starters

Leek, potato, and chive soup.

Smoked mackerel, creamed horseradish new potato salad.

Duck and truffle pate, red onion chutney.

Breaded chicken goujons, curried mayonnaise.


Main course

Steak and ale pie mashed potato and seasonal vegetables.

Baked salmon herb crumb, caper and parsley sauce, potatoes. and vegetables.

Roasted supreme of chicken, shallot, tarragon and mushroom sauce, potatoes, and vegetables.

Vegetable lasagne, fresh salad, and garlic bread.


Dessert

Winter crumble and custard.

Lemon Tart and fresh cream.

Strawberry pavlova.


I am unable to collect monies for this at the November meeting.

Please put your cash or cheque in an envelope with your name and menu choice on the outside of the envelope and hand it to Chris our treasurer at the meeting, or I will be available to hand your envelope to myself either at the Orida Lunch or at our Christmas social.

Maple glazed Sour dough crumpet delight

Topped with pickled pear, drizzled with Mapel syrup, sprinkled with crunchy Pecans & micro greens  (vg)


Tomato and Basil soup

Served with freshly baked Bloomer bread (vg gf)


½ steamed Mussels

In fresh creamy white, onion, celery & garlic sauce and half warmed baguette (gf)


2 Chicken Satay Skewers

Marinated in a rich blend of aromatic spices, coconut milk, roasted peanuts, coriander, galangal & garlic


MAINS


Cottage Pie

Slow-cooked mince Beef in rich gravy topped with buttery mash, & selection of seasonal vegetables & pot of gravy


2 Cumberland sausages

Mash potato, garden Pease and onion gravy


Full steamed Mussels

Fresh mussels in creamy white wine, onion, celery, & garlic sauce with seasoned fries & half a warmed baguette  (gf)


Vegan Fishless Fishcake

Plant based fishcake, on a bed of Ratatouille, topped with fragrant herbs , with crispy garlic plant fries (vg)

Cookie Dough Salted Caramel Crunch Pie

Chocolate pastry case filled with salted caramel chocolate and honeycomb pieces, toffee flavoured mousse topped with cookie bough balls and salted caramel sauce, cocoa powder dust (v)
